I started developing an interest in shoes many months ago, but it has really peaked lately. At any given opportunity I will pick up shoes from everywhere, whether it's someone elses shoes in kindergarden or shoes I find on the shoe rack at home, usually at the same time as saying "shoe". I don't know the Norwegian word for shoe yet ('sko').
I've picked up several new words lately, for instance "borte borte" and "titt tei" (Norwegian equivalent of "peekaboo"), "banah" (banana), "bah" (ball) and not to mention "Kaga". This is me trying to say "Kanga" which is the name of my favourite cuddly toy...a kangaroo mormor Liv gave me last x-mas. I also say "bye bye" and wave whenever I or someone else leaves, and 2 seconds after I'll say the Norwegian equivalent "hadet". At bedtime I will say "nah nah" (night night).
Other news is that we took over the cabin last weekend. We drove up to Trysil on Sat and met the seller and sorted out all the formalities. I slept very well in my own room there and enjoyed our little walk around the area on Sunday. But this is probably the last weekend my mum and I travel before the birth of my little sister (now referred to as Bartine), which is good, because there's been so much travelling almost every weekend for the last two months and my mum is getting quite exhausted from it all. It will be good to finally have some time to relax at home.
