It's Norway's constitution day today. I wore my bunad again - May is certainly the season for bunad-wearing. In the late morning we went for breakfast at Nicklas' place. Nicklas had set up the cutest little table for him and me - with a flag and even with beautiful flowers. I was most enchanted. I particularly enjoyed the home made rolls and I also got an ice cream from Nicklas' mum.
After breakfast we headed towards the palace to watch the children's parade. We could even see the king and queen waving from their balcony. Abi also seemed to enjoy her first 17th of May. Afterwards we went back home and relaxed the rest of the day.
