This is it! Finally I get to see something else than the inside of my mum's tummy. My parents arrived at Rikshospitalet about 4 AM. By that stage my mum had difficulties walking during the contractions. 6 hours later I was born after a birth my mum calls not too daunting but painful beyond belief! By choice(!) that brave (or should I perhaps instead say naive and stupid) woman only had the laughing gas, no real pain-killers. I was born at 10:08 AM and I was very calm and quiet all day except for a short period in the evening. A couple of hours after the birth we were taken to the maternity ward where we got to share a room with another brand new little citizen Mathias and his mum Stine. By miracle I slept all the way through my first night, which later turned out to be the 'norm'. My parents should regard themselves extremely lucky, since they're not exactly early risers.
