10/12/2006 - Look what I made!
 | Apologies for being so bad at updating my diary lately. I still need help from mummy and daddy to do that you see, and they have both been so busy and tired lately. Luckily mummy starts her maternity leave tomorrow, so she will have the time to help me out.
Anyway, this week we had a christmas workshop in kindergarden, where we made decorations and baked "lussekatter", the buns we eat for the St Lucia celebrations on 13th Dec. I made this picture for christmas, which will go on the wall of course. My very first art. My mum was so proud of me.
I still have not yet understood quite what all this christmas stuff is about, but I definately love the advent calendar my mum hung up last weekend. It has little parcels full of sweets inside. Plus when my parents took my shopping yesterday, I got hold of some tinsel and wouldn't let go....it was so sparkly and shiny I had to drag it with me all over the shop.
I also have a new favourite meal - it's called "pytt-i-panne", a bit like bubble & squeak. Daddy thinks it's one of the saddest meals going, but I never seem to get enough of the stuff and always finishes it in no time when having it served, just like mummy :D
I have also started pointing at mummy's huge belly and say "baby". But my parents don't believe I actually understand that there is a little person in there, because I say the same when pointing at my own belly. Not long to go now though, since my little sister is due in less than one month.
