Adam, Pilar and Dylan are taking us up to Ellen and Bernie's ski-condo at North Star by north-Lake Tahoe where we plan to spend the next few days. It's a 3 hr or so drive from Adam and Pilars house in Oakland where we spent last night, but it took us ages to get there because my parents had to take the opportunity to go to the outlet stores in Vacaville on the way there, so we arrived late in the evening after having climbed about 2000 metres above sea level (by car of course).
