Drove to a pretty beach called Sand Harbour on the north-east side of Lake Tahoe, i.e. in Nevada. It was very hot in my little tent, so I wasn't happy and only calmed down when my dad took me for a swim in the lake which was a bit on the cold side (probably not more than 18 degrees).
