We've not managed to take that much holiday this summer since we have to save up our holidays for November when we're visiting daddy's American family in San Francisco, but we have spent a couple of weekends at the hytte. At the end of June we had 28 degrees there, and went to both the north and south side of Osensjøen - a very very loong lake with a fantastic beach at the north end.
Our main holiday outing has been Dinan as usual. It's become a tradition now. We spent a week there, going to the beach at Sables D'or a few times and generally eat lots of nice food. We also made an excursion to a castle about an hour away. See the photos in Abi's Summer 2009 album

We made another trip to see mormor in June - but this time only mummy and I. We took the train all the way there and back. Mormor fell and broke her pelvic bone before xmas last year, so she's a bit imobile currently, but she's getting better and we helped her do her daily exercises that her physiotherapist has told her to do. We also made it to the city centre with mormor, plus to the Laksfors cafe where we always attempt to go when we're in Mosjøen.
We also had my cousin Johannes stay for a few weeks this summer since he's got himself a summer job at a big laywer's firm here in Oslo (he's a law student with only one more year of his degree to go) . It was great having him stay with us.

On a couple of occasions we have taken the ferry out to Nakholmen to visit Ingunn at her new summer cabin. Nakholmen is a very idyllic island in the Oslo fjord, only about a 15 minute boat ride away.
