It's the annual "Sjørøverdag" (Pirate Day) in kindergarden today. I missed last year's, but this year I was given a bandana on my head and given a painted-on beard and mustache for the occasion. Unfortunately, when I saw myself in the mirror at home in the morning, I got so scared of my own reflection that I burst into tears immediately. Mummy was very worried about how I'd react when I arrived at kindergarden, but amazingly enough, I was suddenly cool about it all and really enjoyed pirate day. Next year I'll have even more of a clue of what it's really all about ;-)
