This afternoon was first spent in the garden and afterwards we headed to the Botanical Gardens which is part of Oslo University and a short drive from our flat. None of us had been there before, and we were amazed by the size and beauty of the whole area. Unfortunately the hot houses closed before we arrived and several plant varietes were no longer blooming, a good excuse to come back next year! I kept running in the opposite direction of my parents though (a new habit of mine), so poor mum and dad had to constantly run after me.
