16/4/2006 - Easter Sunday

I've had a very good easter so far. I spent a lot of time playing with mormor Liv, and we've made a few daytrips; one to Korgfjellet about 50 kms north of Mosjøen, where daddy tried to go skiing while mormor, mummy and I stayed at the local mountain cafe but we also drove 30 kms south to the salmon river cafe at Laksforsen (with the great views). Oh...and I finally met my mum's best friend from her childhood days - Kjersti, plus her youngest son Jakob.
The grown-ups got a lot of exercise trying to child-proof mormor's house! There's so much stuff to explore and way too many things for me to get to. I found the key for the bookshelf cabinets particularly fascinating and mummy had to look for it almost every day as I had placed it somewhere it shouldn't be ;) Mormor has quite a few steps to climb. At Xmas I didn't know how to, but as you already know...climbing stairs is now one of the most fun things I can think of!
No easter without a proper easter egg of course! Well, I actually got something just as good (if not even better) - a milk chocolate bunny from grandma and grandpa in London. My parents helped me eat it after they had their soft boiled eggs for breakfast. After breakfast we headed back south. We stayed the night at a motel just south of Trondheim and the next day we drove back home. I have spent over 25 hrs in a car this vacation!
