BIG day today, as this was my first day at my new kindergarden, Bygården barnehage. My mum took me there in the late morning. We were introduced to the 'educational manager' for my unit, Katrine , who will also be my parents first point of contact, Ruby, the second out of 3 teachers, plus 2 of the kids in my unit: Clara Marie (21 months) and Theodor (23 months). I was also told that there is a little boy called Einar who I'll meet tomorrow, plus 5 new kids that will be joining shortly, of which all are actually even younger than me! I've already been allocated my own chair with my name on it, two drawers plus a basket and hooks to hang my coats on, plus my very own bed where I will have my afternoon naps :D
At 11 we all sat down for our lunchtime meal, and I downed a sandwich with liver pate in record time! My mum has never seen me eat that fast before. All these new impressions certainly made me hungry! I've already found my favourite toys there....a mini-slide and the 'pop-up pets' which made me very very excited!
All in all a very good day, but an easy start since we only stayed 3 hrs and there are so few kids there for the time being.
