Had the first 'batch' of the 5-in-one vaccine (against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio and haemophilus influenzae type b) today at the child health centre. (I will have another one in 2 months and the last one when I'm 11-12 months). Needless to say I was screaming in pain as the nurse stuck the needle into my thigh, but I calmed down quickly and soon forgot all about it. The nurse was quite impressed with how strong I was and how high I was able to lift my head when lying on my stomach. She said a lot of babies considerably older than me still cannot lift their heads anywhere near as much! I was also weighed and measured again. My 'official' weight is now 5230 grams. (My parents also keep weighing me on their digital scales but they're not as accurate). Later today I spent a lot of time asleep and was very bad tempered whilst awake. Guess this was caused by the vaccine but I should be back to my normal happy self tomorrow.
